Kaspersky says third of Russian parents want children work in IT
MOSCOW, Jul 4 (PRIME) -- A third of Russian parents want their children to work in the IT industry when they grow up, antivirus software maker Kaspersky said on Tuesday in a research.
“Among the children, the share of those willing to work in this industry is even higher, 41%,” Kaspersky said.
The poll also showed that 23% of the parents want their children to work in healthcare and the same ratio choose the financial industry, 18% pick legal services, and 13% opt for the manifacturing industry.
“With a strong mathematical base, one can apply yourself successfully in many spheres, including information security. We are interested in such professionals and actively take part in project Mathematical Vertical, we have our own program on the direction,” Veniamin Ginodman, advisor to Kaspersky’s general director on educational projects, said.
